Coney Island Wonder Stories, a fiction anthology, is now available from Wildside Press:
Take a trip to Coney Island, dark and delightful. Eleven writers, including Kij Johnson, Maureen F. McHugh, Mike Resnick, Kristine Kathryn Rusch, and Lawrence Watt-Evans, imagine the fabled playland’s past, present and future. Travel with them to dreamland’s gateway on the ragged edge of North America, where Merlin haunts the deserted amusement rides, memory is more real than desire, and the dark Atlantic surges behind a bathroom mirror. Edited by Robert J. Howe and John Ordover.

Cool. Mine has been shipped, according to the email I’ve just gotten. Did you talk to the Brooklyn Public Library? They should order a pile of them. Also what about gift shops etc. in Coney Island? Will it be in local stores?

Congratulations!! I didn’t know you knew John Ordover. He’s a good friend of my friend Carol. (I’m having deja vu; we may have had this conversation, and no, not *that* Carol, the one who isn’t his wife.)

Hey, hey, hey! Congratulations! This has been a long time coming. š
I ordered a couple of copies a couple of days ago — supposedly they’re supposed to ship early next week. You’ll have to sign them, of course.

Nice. Great theme, and what a line-up! And it’s available through Amazon too. I’ll bet getting one for sure. Thanks for the announcement.
